We have been learning about the letter Rr

We painted rainbows because the word rainbow begins with the letter r

Certificates

On Friday we had four children from Room 9 receive certificates at the Koru assembly. 

Well done to Carlos, Moy, Grace and Ellen!

Library Time

We love going to the library every Wednesday afternoon!

Here are some photos from our time in the library today. 

Dog Safe

Yesterday we went to the hall to learn about being safe around dogs. We met Laura and her dog Kai. 

Laura told us all about being safe around dogs and what we should do if we want to pat someone's dog. 

Laura taught us how to stand like trees and wrap our arms up if there is a dog around and we are a bit scared. 

Kai walked around and we did so good at standing as still as a tree!

Laura also showed us some of Kai's tricks. He is very clever!

New Room 9 Friends

Welcome to Mia, Kiyann and Ellen who started on Monday.

Bubble Fun

Yesterday we had some fun with bubbles. We had a wonderful time blowing bubbles and popping them with our fingers and even our noses!

We then went and wrote some stories about our experience.
