Week 2 Certificates

We had four children receive certificates at this weeks whole school assembly!

Alvin and Emily received Principal's Awards for their hard work in the classroom. 

Ellen and Carlos received their special awards for helping out in the working bee.

On Friday we had the Koru Whanau disco. There were lots of Room 9 children there.

A Wonderful Enviro Lesson

Room 9 had the best enviro lesson with Mrs Daniel last week!

They all went down to our school garden and dug out some kumara that had been growing in there. Then at lunch time Mrs Daniel went and cooked it for us!

Here we are enjoying the kumara that we got out of the garden ourselves. 

Welcome Carlos!

Yesterday Carlos had his first day in Room 9. 

He had fun playing with some new friends. 

He also received a certificate for surviving his first day at school!
